STAR TREK THE MOTION PICTURE MEGO

These figures were based on the first Star Trek movie from 1979 and were 3 3/4" in size. None of the figures were released with any weapons or accessories and are very similar in construction to Kenner's Star Wars figures at the time. The second series of figures, which comprises of aliens that weren't even shown in the movie, are harder to come by. A vacuform plastic Enterprise Playset was also released in the line, which is made of thin plastic and is very fragile. The Vulcan Shuttle was also planned, but was never released.
